Facilities at Ronald McDonald House

The House is a secure 3 storey building with a door entry system. The following facilities are available:

Reception: The House is manned 24 hours a day either by permanent full time staff or our dedicated Relief Managers who can provide assistance in the case of an emergency. Once a room has been allocated to a family, a key deposit of £20 will be required when booking in.

Bedrooms: The House has 20 bedrooms each sleeping between 2 and 5 family members. All rooms are comfortably furnished and are equipped with a free internal phone connection to the hospital. Sheets and towels are provided.

Kitchens: The House is fully equipped with 4 kitchen areas. Parents have their own fridge and dry food cupboard in the kitchen and access to a shared freezer.

The Great Room: There is a large sitting area which is equipped with a television, DVD, and Freeview. We have Wi-Fi available in the House.

Laundry Rooms : The House has 2 laundry rooms which are fully equipped with washing machine, tumble dryers, irons and ironing boards, there is charge for these facilities. Tokens are required for the washing machines and tumble dryers: these can be purchased from Reception. Soap powder is available at a small charge.

Garden : The House has a secluded courtyard garden at the back of the building.
